HOW
TO SET UP / PARTICIPATE IN A EUREKA PROJECT / BENEFIT FROM OUR SERVICES
1.
Project idea: It is not sufficient to have a good
idea for it to be automatically funded! Fill in our PROJECT
PROPOSAL QUESTIONNAIRE and send it back to us. We will
audit your idea free of charge and provide initial feedback on your
success chances.
2. Contact our Umbrella
national co-ordinator for further information on how to proceed.
3. Develop project idea and set up project partnership:
EUREKA projects need at least two partners from two EUREKA countries,
of which one partner must come from industry (SMEs, large companies).
Partners must be complementary to each other. We will help you find
your ideal project partners through our database and our extensive
network of associations and advisors.
4.
Participate in projects initiated by large companies / research
institutions: If you are an SME, you may want to participate
in projects initiated by larger entities. We will identify suitable
projects for you and introduce you to their initiators.
5. Secure your financing: Funding through EUREKA
covers on average 25% of the budget of your project (sometimes up
to 50%). However, the funding sources are national and derive from
a myriad of programmes. We will guide you through the maze of funding
programmes and help you identify your best options.
6 . Fill in the EUREKA funding application: Finally,
you have to go through the paperwork. We will assist you in drafting
your project and help you comply with all administrative requirements.
7 . Endorsement and EUREKA label: Once the project
is endorsed by at least two countries, it will receive the EUREKA
label, which in certain cases triggers additional funding. We will
interface with the EUREKA institutions to accompany the labelling
process of your project.
WHAT
ARE OUR SERVICE FEES?
For
steps 1 & 2, our services are free of charge. If you decide
to procede on to step 3 and further, we will work on the basis of
a success fee of 5% of the funding you receive.
