PRO-IDEAL Plus: a commitment to cooperation in ICT between Europe and Latin America


 On the 16th Feburary 2010, the Chamber of Information Communication and Technologies of Costa Rica (CAMTIC) will welcome the meeting to launch the PRO-IDEAL Plus project and the 1st workshop for the ICT cooperation between Europe and Latin America.

Strategy to link new skills to new jobs


 ProInterNet (PIN) is a new project co-financed by the Lifelong Learning Programme. The PIN project will create a network of key players in the area of ICT and Multimedia skills in SMEs.

ICT 2010 Brussels


 The bi-annual ICT conference, exhibition and networking event takes place from 27 to 29 September 2010 at the Heysel, in Brussels. Organised by DG Information Society of the European Commission, it is the biggest ICT research event worldwide, that attracted in Lyon in 2008 more than 4500 participants.

4th call of the ICT PSP - now open !


 The 4th call of the Information and Communication Technologies Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP) is now open, with an overall budget of 107 MEUR. This programme is geared at market-near projects.

EQF-Code - Evaluation of European Specialist Profiles


 A number of European partners from eight different countries collaborated in the Leonardo Project EQF Code. It´s objective is to make qualifications in the field of content development comparable at European levele-Competence Framework and European Qalification Framework. This shall thus increase the mobility of individuals within the given professions across Europe.

6th Call of the FP7 ICT programme - open till 13 April !


 The 6th Call of the FP 7 ICT programme is still open, with the deadline 13 April 2010, 5.00pm Brussels time. Open challenges include: Cognitive systems and robotics; Digital libraries and digital preservation; virtual Physiological Human; ICT for Mobility of the Future.
