Internet access for all by 2020. That's the ambitious aim of Digital Agenda Commissioner Neelie Kroes. Anyone should be able to access the internet in the next 10 years. But to achieve this Europe will have to invest heavily in new technologies, but the payback should be worth the investment.

Greater interest and funds could help Europeana break Google’s monopoly.
