Roland Grunder is an economist from the University of Lausanne/Switzerland. After his study, he had a 25 years carrier in the tourism business, running hotels and congress center in Switzerland. He is a recognized tourism expert and consultant. After a while as marketing-communication independent consultant he joined the Swiss Postal Services as marketing-communication manager also in charge of the sponsoring department. He was also public relations officer in the Swiss Air Force.

Since 1998, he is currently Secretary General of SwissMedia Association and Member and Vice-President of the Executive Board of IFMA – International Federation of Multimedia Associations with headoffice in Montreal and leading the European Headoffice in the SwissMedia-Center in Vevey/Switzerland. He is member of Executive Board of many companies acting in the ICT area.

Since the beginning of 2006, he starts his own consulting company COMARG helping SMEs in the field of entrepreneurship and business development. The official start of the company will be on Sept 1st, 2007.

Thanks to his international relationships, Roland Grunder is, since 2005, May 1st, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Tunisia in Switzerland.
